About Kyoto Municipal Subway Tozai Line

Kyoto Municipal Subway Tozai Line comes from Uzumasa-Tenjingawa[Ukyo Ward] to Rokujizo[Uji City]. On October 12, 1997, the section the line from Daigo to Nijō opened. On November 26, 2004, the line from Daigo to Rokujizō opened. An extension westward from Nijō to Uzumasa Tenjingawa began service on January 16, 2008.All platforms on the line are island platforms, and have platform screen doors separating the platform from the tracks.So we cannot photo trains on service, and this line is called “It is the most difficult to photo trains in Japan”.

This data reproduces from　Uzumasa-Tenjingawa to Rokujizo. Tozai Line has adopted ATC(Automatic Train Control) and ATO (Automatic Train Operation) systems, but mainly this data uses the former. If you know them for more detail, please search on web, sorry.(∵I’m not good at English. )

Feature of this game route
From Uzimasa-Tenjingawa to Kyoto Shiyakusho-mae( Kyoto City Hall) is mainly under Oike-dori street. After Shiyakusho-mae, the route goes under Kamogawa River and Keihan Main Line. After Missagi, transferring to Keihan Keishin Line( for Biwako-Hamaotsu), does under Anshu Hill( Yamashina Ward) to east and turn right. Until Rojujizo( Uji City), it does south.

How to drive

•Series 50( Kyoto Municipal Bureau)

[For Basic]
1: Press 8 Key and turn on ATC(“設備” indicator lumps).

When the speed limit shows on the cockpit

and you can release brake, it is ready to drive.
2: When the departure bell rings, train doors soon closes.

Door closes, “戸閉” indicator lumps. It means all train doors

closed, and you can drive to next station.
3: When you see the next station, you apply brake and stop

at an appropriate area. Please stop within the plus or minus

40 centimeters across the stopping sign.

[For Advanced]

・Tozai Line applies CS-ATC (Cab-Signal ATC) ,so limit speed on the

section shows on the cockpit(02,01,15,25,45,60,75).If the limit

speed in the next section decreases, "前方予告" indicator lights up

on the cockpit. 

・When departing from the garage in front of Kyoto-Shiyakushomae

(Kyoto City Hall), it is necessary to switch to Campas Operation Mode

("構内" indicator lumps). Arriving at the station, switch to ATC Mode

automatically( "設備" indicator lumps).​
